Diabetes and Obesity in the NewsRecent flashes in Google News highlight the fact that rates of diabetes increase almost in lockstep with rates of obesity. That is such well established fact that it should no longer be considered "news."The real news should be increasing rates of self-caused blindness, as in, "there is none so blind as will not see." So many people refuse to see what they are doing to themselves and to their families, or even to see that they are overweight! (Factually, obesity can cause blindness.) It is amazing how much faith and witch craft are winning out over science. People who refuse healthy life styles count on God and/or magic pills to compensate for their food sins. Perhaps this is Mother Nature's way of dealing with our increasing level of over population, which is causing global warming, starvation, animal and plant extinctions, and all that other stuff. Rather than any "fat gene", depend on the "stupidity gene" to make people kill themselves off without any residual nuclear radiation. Or perhaps this is the real explanation. Some weird creatures from other planets want our real estate, so they are drenching us with zeta rays, which causes us to eat beyond any practical limits, kill ourselves off, and leave the planet for our UFO visitors to colonize. It is almost as easy to believe in UFOs, as it is to accept the tremendous stupidities of the human race. Here are a few recent news links. The Iranians are not totally ignorant of problems in U.S.A. 2. If Iran says something about the U.S., it is not necessarily wrong.
